Mass Effect 3 LE Glitch?

So I saved Maelon's data from Mass Effect 2 and Mordin is alive. Followed by doing the side missions on Tuchanka BEFORE doing the Priority mission. Eve still dies. Is this a bug/glitch or am I doing something wrong?

I wonder if Wrex has to be alive or not.

But if Maelons'data+Mordin is saved that would keep Eve alive.

But you must also disarm the bomb as that could kill Eve and most Krogans.


I also saved the Data,Mordin stayed Alive,Wrex was alive,And both side missions was completed before the priority one and Eve stayed alive.

So either some very rare glitch or you missed something.

I double checked. I saved the data and disarmed the bomb. I checked when I imported my character from me2 and it says I saved the data. I’m really trying to figure this out since this is my first time playing the trilogy

Plus Wrex is alive in my play through.

Only other thing i can think of is did you tell Eve about the Dalatrass asking you to sabotage the shroud?

I did. I’ll try to not tell her to see if anything changes. If nothing changes then I’m SOL. I’ll just continue the story since I really want to wrap up the trilogy. Not sure about playing the trilogy again.

I could be wrong about this but I believe the game autosaves at the start of every mission. Dunno how far back you're going to try these various solutions but that might be worth trying if you haven't already.

Also I'd encourage you to try the trilogy again. It's worth it! :-)

I turned off auto save when I started me3. I manually saved. I do have a saved file of rescuing Eve from the STG station.

So I redid the Eve rescue mission. Something must’ve happened. Somehow maelon’s data was not saved despite the fact I did and imported my data from me2. Well…..I’m SOL. ♥♥♥♥ it, I’m continuing the damn story. This really bummed me out. I don’t wanna restart ME 3 if the outcome is gonna be the same ♥♥♥♥.

Well FWIW I don't recall ever having this happen in any of my playthroughs, so with any luck it won't happen again! :-)

Yea but I’m still kinda bummed out. So much for doing all the loyalty missions in ME2. I swear to god, if I lose more because of something like this again during my first run, I’m not gonna finish the game.

You can use the Trilogy Save Editor to edit your save and give you the data, however, I have never used it in the middle of a game, so make sure you make backups of your saves if you decide to try it. Like barzai, I have never had the data disappear from any of my games.

How do I use the Trilogy save editor? Just in case I do start a next playthrough in the future.

I use the "ME Tweaks Mod Manager" to install the Extra Keybinds mod, which separates the Use/Sprint/Cover keys. The Mod Manager comes with the Trilogy Save Editor, which is located in the Tools tab.

Honestly, the only reason I bring it up is, because you seem to think it's going to ruin your play through if you don't have the data and you also stated if another thing goes wrong it will make you quit. Otherwise, I would say don't worry about one thing going wrong (really it doesn't go wrong, the story just goes in different direction).

Don't worry about a completionist run with everything being perfect. No matter which direction the story takes, it's going to be good. Don't you want to know what will happen if Eve doesn't survive vs. if she does?

If I read your posts correctly, this is your first run and it's unfortunate you already know all of the story possibilities. I think you did yourself a great dis-service by researching it all instead of just enjoying the game and it's surprises.

Yeah you likely lost some war Assest cause of Eve death.

Maybe steam and EA launcher had some problem and data did not properly register.


Most of us in our blindplaytroughs likely did a lot of suboptimal decisions.

And some ppl intentionally makes a max mining playtrough making that worst decision but just bad enough so Shepard survives ME2 and ME3 will barely have any one alive.
