Ilos and how the heck to get off Planet --

Hey,

It's been a few years since I played ME:1 via the Legendary Edition and I'm stuck like a Fly on Fly paper.

When you are on Ilos and are done talking to Vigil, as you exit the tunnel and get back into the vehicle Mako , how the heck do you then get off planet ? I vaguely remembered some sort of "Run-&-Gun" shoot'em Up with Geth Walkers & Destroyers, but I can't seem to find that or the way to get back on to the Normandy at all ? ?

Unless you had some driving issues and parked facing a wall or upside down or some other Mako related shenanigans, you just follow the path you were on. It's a tunnel, you know Saren's not behind you... so move forward.

Once you talk to Vigil the next door opens and you can move forward with the Mako.

Eventually you will rush through the "portal".

Okay, sorry. Maybe I was not clear on how things were. I already followed Saren into the tunnel and talked to the Virtual Intelligence named Vigil . My issue now is leaving , once I get back outside again ?

This means that I talked to the VI , then got into the Mako again and left the tunnel and I'm outside where Joker dropped me off at.??

Yeah, you went the wrong way, basically. If you're back where Joker dropped you off, that means you turned right around and went back the way you came. If you kept following the tunnel the same way you were going, you'd have run into the Geth and eventually made it to the portal.

I think most people are wondering how you messed that up, but I'm assuming that you turned the Mako around, before getting out? That would explain it, because now you would be pointed in the wrong direction when you get back in the Mako.
