The game Won´t launch

I bought the game, installed it and when I run it it opens the EA Launcher with a message saying "preparing game" then it closes and Steam automatically starts validating the game. When I want to run it directly from EA it tells me "to open in the EA application, first install the game on Steam" and the game is already installed but the EA app does not show that the legendary edition is installed.
When I try to open the game through the files, EA opens saying that the game is not installed.
I tried to ask EA support for help but it was useless. I uninstalled the game and the EA launcher several times and reinstalled again but it's still the same.

If anyone knows how to solve this problem please tell me because I'm desperate.

Just saw this.

I had the same issue, the registry data for the game was pointing to a different installation spot.

hey i had a the same type of problem. the way i fixed it was going to EA app launcher app and downloaded it again and will give you a option to download or repair. so hit repair re-input your EA login and start up the game.

hope that fixes the game.

Why you use EA app to launch a game instead of Steam(i presume you own Steam version of a game) ?
Works just fine trough Steam and EA app only job is inform that you are logged in a EA account.
It does should show in a EA library but marked as Steam version not EA one. Unless you bough directly from EA itself.

I also bough it from a Steam, and launch from it ... instead of EA app, but i do have both EA and Steam "auto-login" so they are signed in ...a game never have failed to start.
..but those two does inform me .. while game launching EA. Steam at social aspects etc.. but they disappar quickly behind.

Have you connected EA and Steam account ? (remember you can do this only once)

Yes, I have Steam and EA connected because I used to play Star wars Battlefront and Jedi Fallen Order. And I have never had this problem with none of this two games.

Do you use Steamdeck to play btw ?
Also i assume you have much newer tech then i have, but there have been a problems with some other game specifically AMD side.. was it those "booster" things wich raise power in your graphiccards. I dont remember its name. Could it do a conflict or something else in your windows to not let game pop up in your desktop level ?

It could be, I don´t know what else to do. MELE is the only game in my library in which i have this problem to launch

Sudden changes in your Windows (updates or anything ?) and wich Windows you are using ?

I have played months without any problems with my older Asus laptop with Win10 installed.
No hoccuspoccus VPN´s or any other unnessery programs or multiple virusprotections etc..

i've got the issues a long time ago
how i fix it
update my security account both on steam and my ea account

and don't forget to log out from steam and ea app , restart your pc, then reconnect/login and do the same for ea app
steam / ea api 're quite a mess for security token on their api .

Hey, i have MSI laptop with windows 11 i think there was an update 2-3 days before the game stopped launching, still right after update everything seemed fine. I also have eset antivirus, nothing else i will try putting the mass effect LE file onto the exclusion list, that prevents scanning ME folder. I recently reinstalled it again so im hoping this will help.
