yes. The original ME trilogy is widely regarded as one of the best series of sci-fi RPGs ever made.

That said I recommend installing some QOL mods, particularly to change the default control scheme since the games were originally made for consoles.

It is. ME1 is old thought, especially the combat is dated.

But experience an epic story with wonderfull characters over 3 games with many choices to make, is truely exceptional.

Have fun.

ME trilogy is amazing! Even after you beat it you can play again and go different routes. And the mod scene is AWESOME! you can add a lot of content that enhances the game or content that was cut from the games and people found and fixed or remade it from scratch!
The game is a bit dated now mechanically, but MEOG/LE is still my fav game of all time.

Boy I wish I was experiencing this game again as a first time player. I am currently on my second play through after having played the original. I still think it's absolutely amazing.

Nah It's a generic cover shooter.

I played it for the first time last year via LE, and it is a gaming experience I'll never forget. Gameplay wise it's nothing special, but the story and world building caught me up in a way that a video game hadn't in well over a decade.

I would happily pay full price to be able to play it for the first time again, and I paid full when I got it.

The game is fine but man, the ea app sux so hard. There is not that much sucking on the vacuum cleaner show as it is with the ea app.

Mass Effect is a game series that I like to come back to yearly to do a playthrough. Not many games make me want to play through the games again. I got the N7 helmet from the collector edition. I am eagerly waiting for any Mass Effect news on the new game.:Garrus:

They are good games. I don't like aspects of how the story flows, some aspects to how things work, and the ending of 3 personally. That said it's not a bad game. 1 will have a bit of jank in it, but as before also a great game.

do you need EA subscription on top of the game to play it?

In Space Opera genre yes, otherwise Witcher trilogy is better.

Thanks. I mean, it's EA so it wouldn't have surprised me one bit. Plus, it's presented very confusing on the Steam store page.
