Save location and backup

I just had a power outage at my place right in the middle of playing ME3, and apparently my entire data for every last game was wiped in the launcher. Fortunately, I was able to find save files in a folder intact, but I would not know where to put these in order to get them to work again. How would I do that?

You saves should be located in Documents/ Bioware / Mass Effect Legendary Edition folder

More exactly, on PC it is in My Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Save\ME3\
after that it's another folder with character name and a number, and inside are the save files

I forgot to put this in the OP, but the save files were somehow still there. The menu for ME3 just messed up, and the whole individual game launchers in the ME displayed as if there were no saves at all. Launching up each individual game, and I did see the save files.

I was worried that despite all the save files, despite them being in the exact folder, that somehow the game wouldn't recognize them. At worst, I got a "corrupted save" message from ME3, which the game just purged, which ended up being nothing,
