Question about Ashely romance
I'm on my first play through and I'm trying to romance Ashley . After the first mission I think where she talks about how she doesn't like the aliens on the ship I forgot to press the dialogue option "What about me". I've been nice to her and she still says 'Looking forward to it" when you say goodbye. My question is, can I still romance her or did I screw myself up by not pressing that dialogue option. (EDIT - I have mostly Paragon, only a little bit a renegade by making those bugs extinct.)

Thanks. Is that possible though? I've saved it multiple times since then.

I have like 20 -30 saves so I can go back to earlier bits if I made a mistake. Don't keep rewriting over your saves so you can go back and fix things if you don't want to use a guide. Using a guide will allow you to pick everything up and reduce mistakes. Some people despise using guides so feel free to do as you like in this regard.

If you're not too far as in just at the first or second recruitment you might go back and replay the game.

I've recruited Rex, Tori (the alien with the mask), and the blue lizard looking alien (sorry for not calling them by their names. I'm still trying to learn.) I might restart the game because now I know where to go and can probably get those parts knocked out quickly. Also because my inner conciunce will be bugging me for the rest of my life if I don't choose that option :)

Also, I was just overwriting my saves so I only have one save. Well, I learned.

The problem with this series is in some cases missing a research item in ME 2 will mean it is gone forever and a weapon mod in ME 3 will also be something you can never get back. I am a completionist so I check every piece of loot that I can get and every conversation exploration before I leave a place. Might be tedious but at least I don't have to replay a part.

Having said that I just had to go back and get a weapon mod in ME 3 and it was carelessness on my part and it was kind of hidden and weapons you can buy even if you miss them but weapon mods in ME 3 are gone forever. No option to buy that particular one.

In ME 2 money is very scarce so I picked single credit I could get and went back if I missed a few thousand.

Of course I am an odd one out so no need to play like me but just keep a few saves from each area you visit and only delete them later. You could have missed an important thing and will have to go back so just keep that in mind.

If you are in doubt of a choice save before doing it . I scum save like mad.

Never trust auto/quick saves in ANY game and never rely on one single save, always make multiple manual saves if possible. It's not just for going back and trying something different but also in case your latest save won't load for whatever reason. In fact, I know there is an issue with this game that can cause a save to load you in oob and afaik there is no way to recover that (I could be wrong) Anyway, save often so that you don't lose too much progress if you do have to load an older save :)

Okay, thanks. I'm playing it through again and for some reason I didn't get the cut scene where she talks about the view in the citadel.

I just replayed the part that I missed and chose the what about me option. I'm happy now :)

Only if you saved before. It's usually best to make your own save before important decisions or dialogues. If you're going the paragon route, just pick the top left and top right dialogues. I romanced Liara T'Soni in the first. Miranada in the second. I'm going to romance Ashley in the third but also sleep with Diana Allers.

Diana Allers is goated wtf
Just because she doesn't have a personality doesn't mean she's not an S-tier bang material.

Whatever you say. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.

I say she's an ugly plumper with--as you admit--zero personality. If that's your thing...OK then. But you'd probably get more enjoyment from an inflatable doll.

But I wouldn't do her with your johnson either. :steammocking:

Yeah, idk what this guy is talking about. Lol. Plus she doesn't jeopardize any other romance so. Why not?
