ME3: Dominate, Lash, Flare, not available from the start?

Altough I've played the trilogy 8x, I've never used those powers since the start. When I finally decided to try them, I've noticed the're not on the list when importing ME2 char. I got everything unlocked and all achievements. Is that a bug or they only become available after the missions? I've found no answer to that researching this forum.

For Dominate you must first complete the Leviathan mission.
Lash and Flare is available after the Omega mission. You can learn it at the infirmary in Normandy.

there are more. like edi's stuff and then kaiden/ashley's the hole bonus powers need to be unlocked

they are gained in the medbay on normaday or you can just use a trinity save editor.

Like I guessed no one read the thread. I've completed the game multiple times. I want to know why they're not available since the start, if it's a bug and there's a workaround.

afaik this is how it is intended, you must progress the story to unlock the bonus powers and no character is allowed to use them from the start, unlike ME2 or ME1 granting powers after completing the game as a class / with loyal companion. I've only played maybe 3 runs on OG ME3 and just 1 through LE tho.

Just found out that you can equip the powers once you reach the Normandy. A shame you have to pay 5k to equipe those, they should be available from the start.
(Illiterate people, please, just stop answering...)

We did read the thread. We stated it's in the normandy medical bay. Both me and Theon, all thou he did say infirmary.

As to why it's bought there and not restarting a new game to chose to use something you just unlocked is a developer question really. So all we can do is say where you unlock the skills and you hav to go to that area to equipe it.
