neural shock specialist me1
so I am looking to 100% the acheivements for LE, but I must be an idiot here because I can't seem to find a ME1 squad member with neural shock, did they seriously make an acheivement that requires me to create a character with a specific class to get it or am I missing something?

Try Kaidan? I think he is the one with neural shock.

Yup.

Also, both Sentinel and Engineer classes have access to it in ME1, so it's one of *two* specific classes anyways.

ok thanks guys, I see Kaidan has it. still wish it was a little more universal... and not slightly hidden in the medicine tree, I was looking for an actual skill branch named neural shock instead of the skill...
I normally play as soldier because scumming adrenaline rush is the only way I could ever beat ME2 on insanity.

Infiltrator and vanguard are very viable classes for an insanity run. Play until the collector ship mission in ME2 to get the widow (sniper rifle) or the claymore (shotgun). That ought to carry you through the rest of the game.

that's usually my go-to, with a soldier, the geth pulse rifle paired with the widow is a pretty unstoppable pairing, especially for the derelict reaper mission where you have scions engaging at long range.

thanks to you folks, I now have all ME1 and 2 acheivements. since I'm asking about acheivements, would any of you know if they fixed the sky high acheivement for ME3 to allow party member use to trigger it or do you specifically still have to cast the power that lifts enemies?

Sky High works from squad mate powers, can confirm. Got mine while playing as Engie with Liara. That being said, Engineer was busted on ME1 insanity run and ME2 insanity was pretty easy as well. Did not have to resort to stasis bug either. Could be that LE is just overall easier than original games were.

I don't know, I know I never did attempt a ME1 insanity run until LE, and ME2 seemed pretty comparable but I got seriously stuck during the final mission in ME3 on insanity and never had much trouble before.
