But I suspect there are some multi-step achievements that will be impossible to complete if you have to delete the profile half-way through a playthrough because you already booted up the game after replacing Origin with EA.
You can make a backup of the profile file after a session if you don't think you'll remember to do this every time you start the game. It's tedious, of course, but it's just what we have to deal with until EA figures out how to not mess up the profile file every time the game connects to EA...
ah. but im halfway through me3 rn, so if i delete the profile file, would my progress still be there or nah?
mkmk, but i shouldve clarified i meant my actual game progress. like would i have to start a new game or can i continue from where i am? i think i tried doing the whole deleting profile file thingy yesterday but all my saves were gone. (i may have done the method incorrectly idk)
also dont worry i still have my saves from yesterday i made backups lol.
You can continue playing with your old save, no problem. Though after you finished the game you may be missing some story achievements from parts of the game that you already finished now.
You only need to delete the one profile file inside the folder ME3, not the whole BioWare folder or any of the save files. 👍
What about Paramour and Long Service Medal?
