4K Resolution - 3840x2160 in ME 1 LE

I noticed that I'm not the only one having the issue of keeping 3840x2160 resolution in Mass Effect 1: LE. The 4k resolution selected in the game menu cannot be applied. This helped me 100%:

Edit GamerSettings.ini (via the F4 key in Total Commander).

Path to .ini file: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME1\BioGame\Config\GamerSettings.ini

Rows:

ResX=1920
ResY=1080

Rewrite and saved:

ResX=3840
ResY=2160

I tried to make this change manually in the ini file as well - BIOEngine.ini. Unfortunately, the game returned the resolution to fullHD 1920x1080 after turning it off and going to Windows. And even in the .ini file! But that doesn't matter, because as the lines suggest (StartupResolution), it's ONLY about the game MENU (on start game). It can only stay in fullHD.

This modification of the .ini file (BIOEngine.ini) makes no sense. After exiting to windows, it is rewritten back to 1920x1080:

SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Mass Effect Legendary Edition\Game\ME1\BioGame\Config\BIOEngine.ini

StartupResolutionX=1920
StartupResolutionY=1080

Therefore edit ONLY the lines in the ini file - GamerSettings.ini

I play without problems in 4K resolution on RTX 3060 Ti. Hope this helps someone.
