Achievements unlocking at random, broken me2 advanced training

Currently playing through me2 and just finished all loyalty missions prior to the iff. Went to the advanced training upgrade and can only train barrier... Went to achievements and can only see jacob's loyalty unlocked. Is there any simple solution around this, or can i only resolve it via mods and therefore lose steam achievements?

mods dont (atleast necessarily) disable steam achievements; i have community patch, QoL mods (minigame skip and single probe), texture mods and a couple of armour content mods but im still getting achievements

i think the trilogy save editor (https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/20?tab=description) can forceably change your bonus power but i havent tried and it wont fix steam achievements if theyre broken

When you boot the game and the menu with game selection shows up, select "START" instead of "RESUME" on me2, then go to extras and browse your ingame achievements through there. It should properly sync stuff like this and unlock those powers.

Thank you both for replying, but unfortunately the achievements could not be unlocked. Used the save editor on my last save, and managed to select a different power up, but it's a shame it's such a hassle (playing on steam deck i need to back up the save file, email it to myself to open on my pc, edit it, and email it back to myself do download on the steam deck). Either way, I managed to change it to something other than barrier, so I guess that's good enough :)
