Flashing Light Warning for Vigil in ME1
Just a heads up for those sensitive to flashing lights. The new Vigil is a huge offender of this. It's awful.

Started to get a headache by the end of the conversation.

Yeah it was obnoxious XD. I was like "was it always this bad?". I'm actually surprised that got past the department that checks for epilepsy triggers lol. Must of not been bad enough, just severely annoying.

Edit: Forgot to add that it did actually make my top eyelid twitch a little, but that's it. That and make me blink constantly lmao.

When driving along on a random planet I noticed that it has a crystal surface which flickers awfully.

Yeah, it was nowhere near this bad in the old version of the game.

Ya that was pretty bad, I have no issue with flashing light or anything like that but even that was getting annoying and of course I need to do ALL the dialogue.

I found that turning off HDR seems to help but it's still annoying. I have reported it on EA's website....hopefully they fix it soon.

It's so weird to read this. I have an older, okay, machine. I just finished that scene a half hour ago. I did not see any flickering. Maybe my older machine more closely aligns to the way this game was originally written? I don't know... I suppose it could be.

I agree, that camera angle is soo stupid, with HDR, the screen is annoying.
Is it just HDR? What FPS and resolution is this happening at? I think that will affect this too.

I also experienced this on non-HDR screen (1440p 144FPS). I don't have epilepsy but this animation was kind of disturbing. Made me think "Was it really that bad in OG ME1?"

120 Hz and 60 Hz non HDR.

I was playing on my monitor when the scene happened, but moved the game over to my television hoping it would be better.

It was not.

I agree. I don't have epilepsy or sensitivity or anything, but I remember looking away from the screen during this part because it was very harsh. (Playing on a PS5 with HDR)

Yeah it was...bad. Lol. I had to wince and turn my head to the side, and I don't suffer from epilepsy at all. I felt like I was at a friggin' dance club with all the DJ lights flashing about.
