Import Character to ME2
Hi!
Fist of all I finished ME1 and I wanted to begin ME2 now. After the credits of ME1 it didnt ask me to save it only jumps to main menue. I started ME2 then and when I choose import ME1 character it showed me my Shepard lvl. 53 (normal original lvl). But I played ME1 witch Legendary Leveling system and I was lvl 26 after I finished it. So why is there no legendary lvl system in ME2? Is it correct to import my char this way and keep on playing in ME2 now? Thanks :-)

The leveling system in ME2 and ME3 weren't changed.

ME1 leveling was changed to mirror that of ME2 and ME3. Everything is fine.....proceed to your game.

Ok, so just hit import and begin in ME2 then? But is it correct that after the credits in ME1 it didnt ask me to save one last time?

It makes an Autosave and that's the save ME2 will use to import

Ill go now :-) One last question. I am lvl 3 at the moment and met Jacob... why do I have a so low level? I mean I finished ME1 with LVL 26 means 53 normal why I start with lvl. 3?

The game determines the level that you should be when you import a save. It calculates what level you would have been if you had used the classical system. You can safely import this safe! What youre seeing is normal.

There are a few benefits when importing a save from ME1. A portion of your paragorn/renegade points will carry over, up to 190 points per bar.
You'll start at level 2,3 or 5 depending on the level of your character so in your case your character will be level 3. You'll also gain resources based on the level of your imported character.
The amount of credits that you start with will be 10% of the amount that you had in ME1.

I hope that this answers your questions! :HelmetS:

you start as a level 1 character in ME2 anyway, so just make sure it recorded the choices you made.

I had the same thing happen to me. I was level 28 or 29 when I finished ME1 and when I went to import my character it said 55. At first I thought it was from a previous save from the old games.

Interesting that when I imported my ME2 save files to ME3, it showed all my saves from ME2 including auto saves.

Your import will always been done with your level being determined by the Classic System.

All of the story-based DLC, which have choices that carry through to ME3, can be done after the Suicide Mission. In fact Lair of the Shadow Broker, and Arrival are supposed to take place after it.

Your being given the choice to import a save where you did it or not.
