Ashley Vs Kaiden

Ashley seems to be the more popular choice for people to save on Virmire. Is that specifically because people want to bang her? I mean the developers turned her into a friggin Barbie doll in Mass Effect 3. Alliance Brass upgraded her breast size. Super uninteresting backstory as well.

I save Kaiden every time of Virmire because he has actual utility in the game, esp in ME 3. He also has a very interesting backstory that flushes out Humanities first shady experiments with biotics.

Who do you guys save?

I pretty much alternate between the two depending on what my Shep's like... I dont hate either of them as much as some people seem to, sure they're a bit bland but... meh^^

Kaiden only feels bland because he's in the same game as the original cast IE Garrus, Wrex, Tali, Liara. It's hard to compete with them on an interesting scale. But his backstory is far better than Ashley's. Ashley only saving quality is her ass and boobs, which the dev team took the extreme in ME 3. She looks terrible, like she was designed by a teenager who watches way too much porn and Anime.

Ashley may have her flaws, but at least she has her reasons for the things she believes and she grows as a character.

Kaiden is painfully boring (makes Jacob look deep and exciting) and he's whiny. Kaiden remains boring and, somehow, gets more whiny.

I like the alien characters the most and Ash's speciesism (yes, that is a word Steam spell checker) is annoying so I got rid of her. It would have been more fun if the game had a reality based mechanism were I could transfer her off my ship to some frozen backwater in a remote part of the galaxy. I don't use Kaiden either because the other characters are much more interesting.

Nah it's just that women look more attractive with their hair down and not tied so tight back into a bun that their face is being stretched round the sides of their head. Ponytail and bangs is also attractive though.

Ashley is a xenophobe and hypocrite. She made this one comment on the Citadel in ME1 that caught me by surprise and I was like I am totally letting her die.

She said "I can't tell the difference between the aliens from the animals" I was over by the consort area and I was crossing the catwalk to the otherside and decided to talk to her. Sometimes when you are near certain areas, your crew will make comments about it. Like if you are by the Krogan statue they will make a remark about it.

To be honest, I feel that Kaiden and Ashley are the weakest characters in the games. In ME2 they treat you like a pile of crap. Then the beginning of 3 they hold a grudge through most of the damn game up until you hunt down Udina.

I hardly ever take them on missions with me. I prefer Garrus, Tali, Wrex and Liara as my main. It just seems like the human companions are not that interesting, except for Miranda and Jack.

Kaidan, becouse even though Ashley has kinda nice character arc, i just cant stand her overall bitchiness, nothing personal, but you are not gona call me "skipper" anymore.

I save Kaiden like 98% of the time, not because I prefer him over Ash, but from a gameplay perspective in Mass Effect 3 as he's a far better squadmate to take on missions that Ash

personally i dont like either that much but considering ashley doesnt like aliens and garrus is the greatest friend anyone could ask for i always let ashley get nuked
