ME3 Irune: Book of Plenix glitch

Hi there. Anyone else encountered this bug? Got the quest by overhearing the conversation between a volus and salarium on the presidium commons, scanned Irune for the item, and now I cannot interact with the quest giver to turn in the quest. Yes, the volus standing to the left from Barla Von. Leaving the area and coming back does not help. Reloading does not help. He simply cannot be interacted with and I am stuck with this damned quest unable to complete it.
