7400 assets for the best enging? Really?
I've completed all 3 games and made the best choies, everyone survived in ME2 and ME3, also all ME3 DLCs completed. And I had about 5300 assets.
So you're saying that I need grind up to 7400 assets just to get the best ending? wow, this LE assest rebalance seems like a mistake. Best balance was with Extended Cut ending where you needed like 5000 assest to get the best ending.
That's a load of carp.

I haven't got to ME3-LE yet, but what do you think when you say "grind up the assets"?

I think that means completing all boring N7 missions(I've completed all but 2) and going to each system and scanning everything under constant reaper threat. Still can't see it it's going to be enough for 7400. Certainly don't want to retry it because I'll have to start pre-cerberus assault and I'm playing on Insanity(all 3 games, that was a good experience completing them again).

In Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Shepard must reach 3100 EMS to access the best endings
kman11000 May 27, 2021 @ 2:32pm
I played through all of them with the Remaster, ended up with about 8.3k strength by the end. I did do everything however that I could beforehand (all missions scanning, and DLC). Even if you ignore some of the missions using my number as sort of max you still have a fair bit of wiggle room. When it comes to scanning there are guides that make that fairly simple.

Incorrect. People have had that number and had not been given all three options at the end and the destroy ending was without Shepard gasping for air.

That being said, I completed the game with about 8000 EMS and got all three endings and Shepard breathing at the end.

To get the breath ending you need 7500 points. The game is played if you were at 100% war score due to the absence of Multiplayer, so it would be like getting 3750 EMS in the original game, more than required before but not by enough to be impossible. I remember playing the original game and having close to 4000, and that's without ever playing the first game, my friend had over 5k. I don't see 7500 being an issue.

What? You have to actually play the game and do things to improve the galaxy and how people see you, in order to get their support? That's just crazy talk. What about all the lazy people? Oh, right, there are trainers or save editors available.

Jokes aside, they rebalanced it because originally it was multiplayer dependent. Now it isn't, and it's much easier to obtain a high score.

Define 'best ending'.

The "best ending" is considered the one where Shepard lives, Destroy with a high enough score.

Sadly it's not really even worth it, will do it once and then just skip the ending stuff like I did with vanilla.

They really should have found a new way to end it that doesn't leave a countless plot holes left forever to be a mystery.

Luckily the journey is more my focus than me3 ending and just skip the last bit and just start over.

By whom?

It's the *worst* ending. You commit a genocide and get to live your life happily ever after?

@AGDSL_93
Its 5000 to unlock CONTROL
Its 6000 to unlock SYNTHESIS
Its 7500 to unlock DESTROY with bonus scene

I finished today playing through all 3 games and i ended with 8195 points.
And i know at least 100 points i did not get for some decisions.
So its very doable.

By about 60% of the playerbase who choose that ending. Its by FAR the most popular ending and the most likely one as canon for the next Mass Effect game since it does impact the Galaxy the least.

The Geth can die before that ( i always kill them off on Rannoch) and so the only thing dying is Jokers Real Doll sexbot.

A fair trade for destroying the reapers.

Which relevant and organic species does Shepard kill with this ending?

The synthesis ending involves committing a body horror on every sapient being in the galaxy (sorry you are all glowy cyborgs now...no i did not ask your permission) so it isn't exactly a fun times ending either. Not saying forced transformation of hundreds of billions is necessarily worse than extermination of billions, mind you...just that it is also a morally problematic choice.

Are there even "billions" of Synthetics? The only known ones are the Geth and they have been decimated already a lot by ME3 , the main reason they start using the Reaper code to upgrade themselves.
The only other AI we know is EDI at that point. And the Geth can die in the story long before that final decision.
I dont consider killing Jokers robot girlfriend "genocide" and dont really feel that bad about it, sorry.
