Cheats and Achievements
With the bad way Bioware added the dlc weapons/armors (shots instead of e-mail), we now need way more credits in ME2 and especially ME3. So I thought about downloading the mod to get back the console commands for the games.
I mean, it already takes at least 2 or 3 runs in the original ME3 game to buy all stuff and max all weapons and the 10k credits we can get from the arena isn’t really worth it (100k or even 1 million would have been better)

However, many games usually disable achievements as soon as you use a cheat. Does anyone know if Mass Effect Legendary is the same?
I only want more credits, not stuff like unlimited medigel/granades

Thanks for the links but my question was, if the game will prevent me from getting more achievements if I use a cheat :-)
Just use the Trilogy save editor, its way simpler, you can just edit your number of credits directly in your save.

Although I still think you are cheating :p

That being said, I did mod in the thing to make probes cover an entire planet in ME2 so I don't need to scan and can get all resources with a single probe, achievements continued to pop for me.

thx, I used if for the original game after a bug caused that asari to return from the dead (the one is Saren's lab in ME1. Killed her but she returned)

True but most of us already finished the 3 games a lot of times :D

yep, one of the best mods of all three games. Samed me a lot time. I hope the mod creators will soon also make mods for cut content and one to cut those annoying dreams in ME3

As soon as I got the level 10 weapon achievement, I think I'll install save editor
It's a single-player game, do what you want. If your achievements get borked, download SAM or something.

You don't need to justify it to me buddy, I wasn't being too serious, like I said, I am 'cheating' too by making scanning easier, I've done that slog too many times years ago.

I might do the same in ME3 as you if the credits really are tight.
I think I might do it once where I earn them all through the fighting arena in the Citadel DLC, but if its really a grind I won't do that every time.
I use mods to give N7 skins to cerberus gear.....I still get achievements.
I use the console to change FOV and I still get achievements as normal.

I know you weren't being serious;-)

Before you waste too much time I can tell you, how it was on the original ME3:

First we have all the Upgrades (like 5k credits per upgrade) + some armor (I think 50k and we had like 3 different armors in the shops. Can't remember)
Next we have our weapons we can find ingame. Finding them once was "weapon being unlocked" and finding them again was "3 levels for the weapon". However, each weapon had 10 levels (5 on first run and another 5 on the seacond) which was something between 100k-300k per weapon
Then we had the DLC weapons we had to upgrade (got them for free, same with dlc armor) and the super expensive Spectre weapons (three but each one was way over 100k just to buy them)

Even after 2 runs of ME3, including DLCs and Citadel Arena, I wasn't able to upgrade everything up to level 10.

ME-Legendary is even worse, because now you also have to buy the DLC weapons and armor which, in total, might be over 1 million credits without actually getting more credits from your import of ME2.

So yeah, with 10k credits for the arena, you're preety much grinding money for days. Hell, even if it would have been 100k credits, you'd have to play nothing but the arena for days
Just a question, how do you "run" ME3 again? Isn't it the case if you complete ME3, that you have to start all over again from 0? I just finished ME1, ME2 and now started ME3 with the imported character. Tried to 100% the solar system on both games, sadly didn't succeed on something. Tali and Samara still died in the end lol

To loyalty missions for all team mates, In me 2 to all ship upgrades, in last suicide mission pick right people for teams plus specialist for air vent in collector base. Here is a link for a video to help you out in ME 2 how to save all https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkkPZzoPfGc&t=67s

Not sure how it works on Legendary, but after you finished the last mission, you can start a "new" ME3 save. Instead of importing your ME2 charakter, you can now impoert your ME3 character
Only on your second run you can max all weapons

Don't start ME3 without all squad members if you want a paragon Shepard;-) Especially if you want to see Tali getting drunk (and getting a tattoo by Jack) XD
