When should I start doing the DLCs in Mass Effect 2?

You can do them ASAP if you want or wait. I would do Kasumi Loyalty ASAP for the Locust SMG.

Do everything before you go for the Reaper IFF.
I would make saves regularly, so if you find you can't do a mission you can roll back and do something else first to get your levels up.

Pretty much whenever but do them BEFORE the reaper IFF mission.

Depends on your difficulty and class. If you rely on your SMG then I would make Kasumi a priority just like what Saturn said. If you want to take Zaeed or Kasumi on missions then definitely get their loyalty.. if none of this really matters then you have no reason to do them right out of the gate.

Overlord should probably be done sooner than later just to get it out of the way and level up a bit. Arrival I would do after you beat the game... not gonna say more than that.

Lair of the Shadow broker is a mission that's good to get out of the way once you can get to Illium. As far as Firewalker goes-- AVOID.

Normandy Crash Site? Doesn't take long at all so it's a good thing to start with tbh.

Complete most of the DLC's before the Reaper IFF mission as that is the point of no return. There is one exception though.

I recommend doing firewalker and the normandy crash site DLC early on as theyre easy to complete and they give you a lot of free resources. Recruit Zaeed and Kasumi as soon as theyre available and do their loyalty missions immediately.
Overlord and Lair Of The Shadow Broker can be done at any point before the IFF mission.

I recommend doing Arrival after the final mission as this DLC takes place after the main events of Mass Effect 2 and it bridges the gap between 2 and 3. This DLC makes more sense when played just before starting the final game.

I recommend doing Lair of the Shadow Broker as soon as it's available, provided you've already completed Liara's quests on Ilium. After you complete the DLC, you can return to the Shadow Broker's lair for more rewards after completing missions, so the earlier you complete it, the more it provides.
