ME2 Recon hood
I got a message saying the recon hood would be in my quarters, but when I went there I found nothing to pick up, and no notification of anything either checking the armor rack or otherwise walking around. Am I missing something?

If it's not in the armory you have to buy it from a vendor like the other DLC item for Legendary Edition.

It's in your armory, check head armor.
