Its fair to say, its common to often think our personal view is the most reasonable, rational, and relatable view and that most people do or should think that way.

I personally feel most people didn't care about Ass Effect. It will be interesting to see how many people actually bother to go through the hassle of getting a mod installer and installing this specific mod for such a tiny scene to see how popular it actually is.

The people complaining about Mirandas butt shots being removed.. continue to say what they actually care about is the growing culture of censorship they see all around us, and want it to stop. And also laugh at Bioware's insistence of "artistic integrity" as an excuse not to change the game, yet they did this anyway.

The people who dont care about Mirandas butt shots being removed, and call people incels among other things, seem to think the complaints are actually just about the butt, and sexualization of the character, not about censorship. Despite being told otherwise.
Completely strawmanning, ignoring, or just missing the points being made by those who complained.

Im glad the mod now exists, and have installed it myself. But the arguments that have raged over this are a lot deeper than people first think. It was never about the butt shots.
And as long as censorship culture continues, and is being supported by gamers... this will continue..

Try to understand that the people who originally complained, are doing it to stop what is to come. They see exactly where this is taking us, and understand that its a place where nobody will be happy. Not even those who support it.
If you cant understand that, it probably means you havent seen how censorship can ruin entertainment. Especially the kind of entertainment that you love.

People don't understand what censorship actually is.

If Steam changed the shots....thats censorship.

If Bioware changed it....thats like wearing a t-shirt in your own home. You can't censor something you own.

So when people say it's censorship, that's an excuse to cry over not seeing pixel butts without it being weird. People need to get real problems. Install the mod so we can stop this topic from coming up again.

I think you should just be willing to accept the reasons they give you as the actual reasons they were complaining, instead of injecting your own thoughts into it and strawmanning their argument.
