It is the 1.0 (full release) version of the game that was early access for a year. It is a major update over SOTF early access, but not a new game. If you are asking vs Forest, yes Sons is a new game.

When you announced it you said you were going to add a lot of content, but you only added a new cave and two new mutants. Do you think that's a lot of content for a 1.0?

Man... it almost took me as long to read the patch notes as it took for me to beat the first iteration of the game in EA.... Ba Dum Crash!

Damn, that's a lot of changes/additions, very nice. Good work. New game? No problem, my old saves are too OP anyway. XeSS would have been nice though, but FSR3 is good as well.
