Is there any plan to add VR?
Can the developers answer this once and for all.

I really hope so. There was a magazine in the entertainment bunker that had a VR headset on it ("Holo-VR," I think)...saying something about the future of VR gaming, I'm hoping that is a small Easter egg that hints at SOTF in VR. There are a lot of ready-made VR toolkits for the Unity Engine already, so even if Endnight lazily slapped together a VR port using pre-made assets, I feel like it would be light-years beyond the VR version of the first game, and one of the best VR games to date. On a side note, SOTF is the first flatscreen game I've played in years because I love VR so much.

It'd take quite some time if they wanted to release something polished. If there is one thing that absolutely wrecks VR performance, its foliage. Considering the game has the occasional performance hiccup on just monitors, I wouldn't hold your breath.

It'd definitely be nice to get some confirmation from the dev team. I understand they don't want to overpromise after overhyping the EA release, but we have no insight on ANYTHING.

I can't use VR, I'm a little jealous of those who can. That said I support games having a vr option. Any game with throwing weapons, grapple hooks, gliders, or stuff that depth perception would help can benifit from VR. For those who can use it how fricken awesom would it be to just see a dude and know 'yeah the spear will reach' without needing the white arch of estimation.

I don't know the kind of work it would take to convert the game to vr ready, and imho there are other things that could use fixing first; like some of the building nuances that can be frustrating. But yeah on a game like this with long distance fields of view and weapons that are not hitscan would benifit from VR.

It would be nice but it took a long time to impliment it on the forest so i wouldn't expect it anytime soon. Fingers crossed it does though as i have a VR and i like to play them from time to time.

Why can't you use VR? Access? Price? Motion Sickness? VR made me SO sick when I started, but it was such an amazing experience that I kept playing. Now, I have absolutely zero motion sickness, and can drive vehicles, climb, jump off cliffs...do whatever and play for hours and hours with no sickness at all. I think everyone has the capacity to get over motion sickness, if that is the issue.

For medical reasons vr will not work right for me, any more detail than that is personal and I'ld rather not share with strangers.
