Whats with the dying flare guy
At first I was like oh thats neat, then it happened again and again and again. Kinda strange. lol

The flare is a way to indicate a useful spot you should head to - you'll find some handy stuff there (probably). The dying man is a reason to have a flare being launched rather than just a random plume of smoke.
But yes, by the 4th time it did feel slightly repetitive.
