Things not spawning in or lost

So I have noticed that in certain areas there isn't any items that are supposed to be there. Like for example I found a little bird Ah. There is supposed to be a pistol rail and a suppressor there. But its nowhere to be found. Thinking it was just a weird save I tried to do it on a new save but the same problem still arose. So is this a bug or am i just going crazy.

Probably then changed items locations to force players to search for them again. Do you want to learn new locations by watching one of yt videos or you will say it's enough of this pointless collecting unnecessary stuff?

Stuff got moved around in the 1.0 release. If you're using the online map of stuff, I don't think it has been updated for the changes yet, nor has the wiki.

I prefer to open a save file and add that item to my inventory instead of spending time on a pointless search for a new location.
I like this game it's great if you play it for 12-20 hours but after more hours played you will realise that there is nothing to do really. You can build many things but there is no point of building. You can make huge base and huge items storage in it but what's next? NOTHING.
