How many solar panels?

I have 45 bulbs with bright light, but when I turn on the 46th, they all go dim. The 47th turns them all off. I have 7 solar panels wired. What is the problem?

Maybe, as a test, add one more solar panel and see what happens. Perhaps the devs changed (nerfed) the solar panels so they don't support as many light bulbs.

Batteries are for night time. They are a power reserve, not a power supply.

That's, of course, assuming the OP is not talking about night time specifically, in which case it could be it. Should be a 1:1 ratio for panels:batteries. More panels means more day power. Don't know if you can do more batteries, but they attach to them specifically for a reason.

Is it really 10 bulbs per panel? I've never gave any thought into this. i've always just put as many panels that will fit on the roof. I've been building the same type of base in all of my recent games, It's the best defensive design that i could come up with. I have room for 26 panels :)

That's my philosophy. I just grab more panels and batteries (and wire and light bulbs) when I'm out-and-about and keep sticking them on my roof.
