Unlimited inventory SUCKS
So when I play this game I do not need to build a house ( even though its fun) Because I can carry EVERYTHING known in the game in my back pack. It would be REALLY GREAT if you could make a small limited inventory witch would give me a reason I build a house and store items in. Because theres no point in building when you have unlimited inventory space on your person. Let us make backpacks of different sizes with different materials that we can load up from base and go on an adventure with. I love the game but its to easy when you can carry EVERYTHING.

Agreed, decrease player inventory size and increase storage size.

It’s so backwards that a player can carry more items than a standing shelf can hold.

This should be an option in ... options or custom game.. If they do this it may force people to base build ... only thing I store in a base is food and maybe some armor .. maybe a spear rack .. I just build outposts which are basically an elevated fighting position with a bed ..

Having this as an option they may get closer to pleasing everyone

I like just feeling that I need to build a dingy outpost here and there ... and basically ramboing it all over the map ..

In the first game i built an absolute fortress with a stoneage tech freight elevator.
When i felt like i had a mofo of a base to launch expeditions from i eventually found out it was overkill and by the time i found my son he was already dead (and im not into pet cemetary crap).

unlimited inventory to me means i can carry infinite items and i can't. I hate having to leave certain things behind like rope and vodka. when i start making traps i can make a lot of them because i store a lot of things, it's pretty easy to do in this game because of the low ammo amounts. every time i log in i do "the rounds" which is collecting the ammo that respawns in the camps that i know of and load up on everything else while i do this. the revolver is the gun i use because i can collect a lot of ammo, shotgun i rarely use because of ammo and the rifle i don't even bother getting.

So far I only use rope for armor .. oh and a way up to my base .. so I make 10 armor and roll with that then I carry 10 more rope which I don't need unless the armor depletes then there is creepy armor which saves on rope ..

Yes I like that Idea of having the option in options to turn Unlimited inventory on or off. That would be great :)

Yeah the fish thing infuriates me - I have dried meat racks all over the place now but I can only load up 3 fish but can take 7 meats.. I do like how all the meat looks the same - but then we get 10 total so maybe thats fine ..

If they really want to drive us nuts give us unlimited inventory but have a weight limit so you can carry as many rocks as ya want etc. but have a weight limit .. they ya pull your hair out trying to come up with just the right trade off .. ..

Take it with a grain of salt. This community is something very special. Try to understand that Endnight didn't tailor this game for people who are survival enthusiasts. It's been tailored to target casuals, builders and run and gunners. For them, a vast inventory is worth diamonds and gold. For the logical survivalist though, it's unrealistically balanced and it breaks the immersion.

Unfortunately, Endnight became a checklist game company and you're just going to have to accept it for what it is. Sadly, a massive portion of game companies out there today rarely ever make truly unique, immersive, engaging and polished experiences anymore. It's either half baked, copypasta, rinse and repeat, checklist driven or goes the way of PC and/or woke culture. It's very rare to find games that hold design logic and mechanics at the highest importance of their game developments moreover flashy graphical fidelity and animations.

Welcome to the modern gaming industry. Some people think Hollywood is dead. Well, the video game industry is jogging alongside it.

StackMod von TerroDucky : Install with RedModManager
A mod to effortlessly increase or decrease stack sizes, instantly.
With options such as:

All stack sizes override.
Change each individual stack to what ever you like.

hope that helps^^

When Endnight updates the game and breaks mods, are these mod creators going to continue to support their mods if/when they become broken? We don't know. They could stop supporting them tomorrow or years from now. We have no idea. Once those mods disappear or become abandoned, we'll be back at square one again.

The best solution for this is for Endnight to fix their game's imbalances or put options in game to tune this stuff.
