What are coins and cash used for In-Game?
So I have been finding coins and cash in various places and am wondering what they are used for. Is there a survival use for it or is there a trade outposts like in S.C.U.M.?

The bombs are nice because it takes tape, a circuit board, coins, wire, and I think C4 ...

so it gives you an explosive without having to use a battery .. which seem to be hard to come by in any great degree.

You can carry 3 explosives .. Be Careful using them to close to your base .. I blew a huge chunk out of mine one time was kind of funny .. .

You use the cash to light cigars, and the coins for the fountains.

I have to use the paper cash to wipe my arse, because the leaves don't work as well.

And since the paper cash isn't paper, but instead linen and cotton, I'm able to clean them by boiling in one of my pots so I don't run out. They're reusable.

I'm trying to teach the cannibals advanced economical theory in order to take advantage of the paper cash and coins. So far my efforts have been unsuccessful.
