How to get Kelvin back?

My dumbass friend clobbered the ever loving ♥♥♥♥ out of him and now he's actually dead dead. I tried reloading the game and it didn't bring him back. There any decent way to revive him or is it really only going to be fishing around in game files to change "slavelabordead: false"?

Basically your only option.
Alternitavely you can also respawn him by using "addcharacter robby".

This was the answer I was looking for. I was having a minor struggle learning if I could spawn him. This also lets me know for funnies that I can have several of him to do labor for me.

You can edit a save file to restore status from dead to alive.

Another thing, as long as it isn't a dedicated server, as long as the game isn't saved AFTER his death, you should be able to log out and back in and see him still alive. Once you save, the state of the companions cannot be changed without messing with files or using cheatstick commands to remove his dead body and add a new Kelvin.
