Trying to find raft on day 11
I gave virginia my pistol and I'm trying to swim out to find it but it's not there anymore. Anybody know more?

Perhaps you're on the wrong beach. The life raft beach is on the west side of the map, and a bit north of center.

I'm in that spot but the raft isn't there anymore

It's a big orange tent in the water. I don't think the GPS markers respawn with the pistol or shotgun after you give them to Miss V. I leave the GPS markers until after I arm Miss V and go back for seconds. I realize that is no help right now but for future reference. lol

Edit, unless you haven't gotten the shotgun yet. Then I would suggest just taking the gun and leaving the marker. You'll have a heck of a time finding that again without the marker.

Okay I didn't realize taking the gps will not respawn them. I'm guessing it's supposed to despawn once you pick it up.

Taking the GPS has nothing to do with the guns respawning, but rather only helps you finding them again (if you don't take the GPS). Exiting the game and reloading will force a respawn of the guns.

I never seen guns respawning. So when i need gun i just take shotgun from Virginia

Single Player...
Offline...

Raft doesn't de-spawn when you pick up the Pistol, I gave Virginia a Pistol and Shotgun. Went back a few days later, and got the Pistol off the Raft for myself as well. Then went North to the Grave, to get the Shotgun.

Been to the Raft 4 times for supplies...

West Side, just off Beach fed by 2 Rivers, and Shotgun Grave. West of 2 Coffin Lake Island...

You'll see a dead guy with a Radio blasting, straight out to Sea from him...


If you're 100% sure you are in the right location, and you don't have mods installed. Try verifying the game files.
