Defend at night?

i have COOP with my friends,
difficuly hard

so last time i mostly can do sleep till morning easely, but now each time i tried to sleep, enemies will attack or raid my tent/ base
is that normal? how do you prevent that

In the bases i build i put my bed 4 floors up and it stops about 99% of the night interruptions. If i'm close to a cave i'll sleep there until my base is high enough. if there isn't a cave or water close by i''ll build the single platform blueprint as high as it can go and put a stick bed on it and sleep there temporarily. I've been playing my games on short days and it is a lot worse but this does really help.

so it was normal in this version? i played early stage of the game, i cant see syit, chaotic fun tho

*maybe i need correct location so enemies wont raid my base at night constanyl
