It could literally be anything, you have the specs to run it. If it were MY computer, I'd start by installing a fresh Windows to eliminate possible software conflicts.

Install only what is needed to run the game. Drivers, Steam and the game. Right now you are playing a game of elimination, eliminate all possible causes to reduce the number of possible problems.

If the problem still occurs it's possibly a hardware issue, I'd start by testing the RAM. Taking a look in bios would be a good idea as well, make sure everything is set up properly. Good luck!

i did that before i changed the psu, i dont know if its a programming issue - its the only game with this problem. I had Win 11 and changed it back to Win 10

I can't confirm or deny that as we all have different hardware but I can say that in over 200 hours I have not had a single crash. I am running Intel and Nvidia.

Edit: Even if a crash occurs, a crash that freezes the whole computer is pretty bad, which is why I mentioned testing the RAM. But then if that were the case it would likely be happening with other games or even randomly while watching YT or whatever.

Are you keeping an eye on your temps?

yes the temps are okay, i also sended the pc back to repair and they said they fixed everything. I told them about the crashing first time it happend with another game on win 11 but after i switched to win 10 the problem was gone. Now Forest has this Problem. I bought this PC Setup in Dec of 2022. And its the only game with this problem
