I don't have the max affection achievement before hitting the ending (Before the last patch)
And Virginia was there at the ending
I also replayed after the patch, having saved in the bedroom before the Golden Armour door, and she was also still there. (I avoided the boss at the end though by... running away, so I don't know how that effects things)
The achievement may not have triggered even if you had max sentiment. There has been a known issue of some achievements not being awarded despite reaching the prerequisites.
The only other way you'd be able to check if she was at max sentiment or not would be to look in the game files.
Oh I wasn't complaining about not having the achievement, I was just pointing out that I didn't have it but Virginia was still present in the finale
You're good, and I wasn't saying you were. Was just pointing out that there has been an issue with achievements being granted so you may have had max sentiment without knowing it.
when we speedran the game again (now with me as host) i got both achievements
im just saying that it probably helps to get the achievement for affection first because there isnt any real indicator apart from that on how friendly you are with virginia..
