Kevin is broken or just plain dumb

I am on the fence about putting Kevin out of my misery. Especially, when it comes down to gathering logs. I use the zipline to distribute logs on to a platform and when Kevin is helping he runs and tries to pick up the logs being sent to the holder. Which causes Kevins' AI to break and he wont do anything but chase logs coming down the zipline. It's incredibly aggravating when he cant reach a holder and he pulls the log out of thin air and holds the log for an extended period of time without doing anything. Now he just stands there with two logs, until I knock the logs out of his hands so I can take them. I usually shoot him in the face so he can drop the logs, because I've gotten to the point where he's pissed me off more than he is helpful. I sometimes kill him, reload the game do it again until I am content before moving on with him alive. Can the dev's please fix that before I save without him.

ive found kevin best suited gather rocks, sticks, stones and filling holders. logs, not so much

Kelvin can be very useful, but also very aggravating. Been tempted to shoot him, but instead, just had him follow me some distance into the woods and told him to stay there.
