For "Peaceful Mode", is SOTF better than The Forest?

Hello, I really enjoy the survival aspect of games like this, but don't really like the fighting mutants part. Which game is better for exploration, survival, and building in peaceful mode:
'Sons of the Forest' or the original 'The Forest'?

SOTF Graphics are beautiful.
You cant really compare to the Forest way older and also been tinkered with for many more years. Sons of the Forest is released by the same developers as the Forest

Watching videos gives you the best impressions. So much cool stuff to discover and explore. I also played the forest but now that I played SOTF its gets my vote.
Each time the game is restarted you get a different beginning.
Disable stuff you dont want in the options.

Most of the time, the next game will be better. Use custom difficulty and set everything regarding enemies health, agressiveness, raid party, armor, etc to LOW. And they wont pose much threat and even give the fun you deserve. I read peaceful mode will be too boring at some point because there is no incentive for you to build your base defensively.

I skipped all enemies when I started the game at normal not knowing that its kinda too hard, later I restart with custom and I kill them all now.
