Did they abandon this game?

After they did "major update" but changed none of the mechanics which made this game easy as a joke even in its hardest difficulty.. are they planning to keep it that way cause last time we played deaths felt meaningless when you can walk for 30 seconds or if playing with friends they can kite and revive you infinitely..

No no. It's the responsibility of the developer to take these things away from them. They're too good at the game to make it challenging for themselves.

It would be nice if they added harder settings. Multiplayer should be like other games where the number of people in the game increases the (toughness or numbers) of the enemies, then in single player you can choose to play with the settings of 1,2,3 or 4 players. so far the hardest the game is short days with the hardest settings.

I would personally like to have a long day game with the settings of short days. a lot more attacks and the food/water requirements actually matter.

Games aren't always about turbo-hard challenges. SOTF is a hard enough game and is harder in many places compared to The Forest.

Game is an asset flip built on the back of the first one. Lied multiple times about progress, kept pushing back the FULL release date then released into EA with a buggy empty world full of bought assets and 1% of a story.

Complete scam. Will never buy anything from these devs again.

The boys and I waited so long for this only to find complete scum. We played one night and never again. These devs are actually the reason we stopped buying anything ea.
