is there some specific place batteries spawn? i'm running low on batteries and would like to stock up on some for the flashlight. any ideas where they spawn like in a certain bunker or cave or camp or something?

You'll find a couple packs in Maintenance Bunker A; they respawn there. Look for abandoned camps.

Skin pouches, entertainment bunker in the 3D printer room, camp boxes mainly

I've never gotten batteries from skin pouches but it would be nice if we did. the entertainment bunker (main 3d printer cave) has 2 that respawn, i think that's the best spot. the room next to where you get the katana has 3. I get most of mine from looting crates/suitcases, if i get to 6 batteries i stop looting until i can store them. i primarily use them for exploding arrows, batteries in skin pouches sure would be nice.

Yeah, that's been added to the game, and I forgot about it. You now get batteries from skin pouches. So slaughter cannibals to get skin pouches. Yes, you get batteries, but more often you get really useful items such as oysters and berries.
