Stutter fest
I love playing this game, but it is hurting my eyes, because of the stuttering.
Bad fps when panning around.
Intel i9 14900 ks
Asus z790 motherboard
32gb ddr5 ram xmp2
RTX 4090
Ultra wide monitor
I'm not even playing at 4k
Why does it run so horrible?
It's not as if my hardware isn't up to the job.
Dlss enabled makes no difference.
Even reducing the settings makes no difference.
Any ideas as so solve this, would be very much appreciated.

I had the same issue. I installed it on SSD and that fixed it. Also maybe check your resolution

It is installed on nvme ssd, and resolution is the native monitor resolution 3440x1440

your computer is better than mine and the game runs like a champ on mine. The only time i stutter a bit is when i'm on the knight v going top speed but even then it's minor. similar specs but i have a 3080 video card and a ssd drive. Hows your ISP? I've made it a point to always upgrade when it's available to get the fastest residential internet speed.

Anything OC'd? Like RAM (Exept XMP)

A lot of people on iRacing that use the same CPU and are having stutter issues.

You are aware of Intel's current issues regarding those CPUs, aren't you?

Dlss enabled makes no difference.
Even reducing the settings makes no difference.
Since the game is extremely CPU taxing, DLSS does indeed make no difference but just putting more load on it.

Try maxing out every GFX settings but CPU relevant ones such as rendering distance, physics etc.
Also try capping the FPS to a more reasonable frame rates such as 60. This will leave both the game engine and your CPU leave more room. and performance should be way more stable.

Lol. Yeah, go ahead and set your max fps to 60 with that 4090. Just silly.

You sure your cpu isn't thermal downthrottling? You pretty much need a custom water loop to keep that cpu from overheating and taking a performance hit.

Even a 4090 can only render what the CPU is capable of calculating, genius.

And running a game that is extremely CPU taxing on a CPU that is known to have serious issues on load, is currently not a particularly wise choice either.

So yes, unless you want to grill your intel any further, the 60 fps limit is a very viable and smart option in this case.

Good job at being easily offended genius. I just meant that it's silly to have to cap frames at 60 fps for anybody who buys highest end hardware. Intel needs to get their junk together when their premium cpu can't play games without stuttering. And cannot utilize the best gpu on the gaming market.

I dont know if someone is still interested but have you tried turning off vsync?
On my Gsync Monitor I had a weird stutter issue in game. (Like Game Engine Stuttering)
FPS where in the mid 90. But it felt very laggy. After turning off VSync, the game runs butter smooth.
