The Constant Attacks get old but at least its an option ..
Day 50+ in world, long day, long seasons, started in spring
Average attack interval: (in game time not rl time)
Mutants - about once every 5 days
Cannibals - once every 30-60 hours
Muddies - Daily?
"Curious onlookers"/Scouts - Daily
I put a question mark next to the muddies (the ones that duck into bushes and vanish and scamper around all feral like on all fours) because it's hard to tell if they are near. As for the intervals, they are guesstimates. I don't just sit in the base looking at the clock to time it all out I just notice when building how often I am interrupted by solicitors. I do know I would likely never build a base in short days. Couldn't repair it fast enough. Also where you build has a lot to do with how often visitors come calling. Even in winter the island in the lake near the cave exit (i think it's the shovel cave system, there is a dude in an arm chair near a rope clime right before the exit) doesn't seem to get visitors as often.
Lastly, picking off the scouts diminishes the cannibal raids.
Drawback to the long days - cooking and drying take a lot longer.
cheers
But still, 24h would be too much for me.
But pretty sure people would ask for this, if there wasn't such an option.
I play using "long" days. Seems to have the best balanced pacing
Currently at 10 days per season. Thinking of switching to realistic regarding this.
