Still no makeshift fishing rods?

Yeah it would hunting for me is difficult - I just use a bow .. maybe need to try traps .. spearing fish is easy but everything else runs from ya when ya have the bow out and stays out of easy kill range and they keep moving ..

Deer even if your crouched and "hidden" they get up and move away. And if ya hit em with a spear they run off and ya loose the spear. In The Forest a spear would kill deer one shot.

The fish traps makes getting fish a bit too easy but they don't catch fish in the winter. a fishing rod would be nice and it should work in all seasons.

This game isn't about actual bush survival logic. It about Grind grind, choppy stabby, bang bang and pew pew.

Seems a lot of people want a company to step up to the plate and create an actual wilderness survival sim that follows logic of basic to advanced bushcraft survival.

We should be able to throw grenades in the water and blow up fish. You know, fishing the old-fashioned way.

"Green Hell" is pretty close but it lacks in a few areas. Never seen so many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rattle snakes in my entire life.

Green Hell isn't what people are loathing for from what I see in a lot of discussions not only about this game, but many other survival tagged games. I think what we really need is a bushcraft survival simulator kind of game that adheres to the logic of outdoors survival in the wilderness. Hmm...

dont get me wrong, both these games are FANTASTIC. but yes i would just love a game where its bushcraft, fishing, hunting, survival against the wilderness etc.

And it would probably be even more fun if it were RWG, RNG, had lore and supported co-op multiplayer?
