Hi There I tried Redloader As Well as All The Other Mod Managers For This Game And Most Mods Don't Work So I Am Asking How Do I Install Mods Manually Without A Mod Manager And Exactly Where Do I Put The Mods Folder

I also wanna know this since I have very little trust in 3rd party modinstallers and the virginia nude mod is very tempting to get xD

Tempting, but the way its implemented is quite an eyesore. Tried it out and stopped using it because I found the swimsuit prettier to look at by comparison. The model used has some really bad looking seams and no attempt was made to touch up the model.

Try it out first see if you don't like it to be sure. I didn't, but mileage may vary.

1. Go to the SOTF mods website. Download Redloader:
2. Also download Dotnet 6. You need it to run redloader.
3. Go to the website and pick the mod you want to install. Click Manual download.
4. Find it under downloads. Then copy it and past it into your mods folder. By default your SOTF game folder should be here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sons Of The Forest

ya i did all that i've used redloader for cyberpunk 2077 before but its very buggy on sotf

it doesn't work neither does redloader i don't see why they can't just have a mod section in the workshop for this game would make things alot easier

No. Redloader is 100% required to get into it. And thunderstore mods are in shambles right now. If its not working you must have not done one of the steps. Visit the SOTF discord for more info if needed.

I would rather they focus on releasing more good updates for the game. There is already a solid modding community.

It's confusing I know but Redmodmanager.exe loads Redloader.exe THEN you can pick & choose the mods you want. Make sure the NSFW slider is off or you won't see the Virginia Nude or Nude Virginia Mods. Then turn NSFW back on to see the rest of the mods.
