Can I make Flashlight default light source?

When I use the hotkey for light source (default 'L'), it raises my lighter. Is there any way to make the Flashlight the default light source, so I don't have to use a number hotkey for it?

Sometimes, my actions cause it to drop, then my character switches back to lighter. Making the Flashlight the default light source would solve a lot of headaches.

Hotkey the flashlight so you always take it out instead of the lighter, no way to make it default to your light key

You need to open your inventory and click manually on the flashlight. After that it will be always on L until you change it to the lighter.

You need to open your inventory and click manually on the flashlight. After that it will be always on L until you change it to the lighter.

I did not know that. I've been wasting a hotkey on the flashlight.

I have both, flashlight and lighter, on hotkey. Just hover over the item in inventory and press a desired number from the number row on your kb.

This is not persistent. The next time the game loads L is back to the lighter. Hotkey the light with a number I think is the answer, unless the devs change something.

I'd be okay with selecting it once on load, as long as it doesn't keep switching back during each session.
