And it wasn't that late in the game I think it was something like day 5 or 6. I wasn't active in killing cannibals before and I was trying to keep the peace. The next day I flew on a punitive expedition on a glider. I landed at every cannibal camp within range of my base, killed them all and destroyed the camp.
Then I had one night of peace. Now my sleep is interrupted about every other night and usually only once. But last night's attack was pretty big. I wonder what comes next.
Maybe only in some places it's designed badly that cannibals can spawn near you.
It has that nice sense of danger when you didnt know where and when you are going to walk in to enemies.
With Sotf darkness comes like a snap from fingers and its insanely black.
Enemies roam everywhere, mostly without any kind of light source, completely silent and they will spawn in your camp always at the night time. Balancing is just way off cause cannibals and monkeymen seem to be almost everywhere.
So if you want to build stone walls as your defence wall, make a border using wood logs, then fill them with stones. The top of the stone walls should have the horizontal log (important). If you make a bridge on a river, waste of time trying to fix it or close it, just remove the bridge, don't build anything at the other side of the river that linked with the main building except for zipline. That's all, oh btw our base isn't fully enclosed with defence walls, only the front, left and right side of the base, there's a lake behind our base, you don't need to close the whole lake.
