Tf does the artifact do

I built it. I loaded it. Both modes don't seem to do anything. At least the secondary mode makes noise and spins. But wtf does it do?

i bet the artifact is like the first games alien artifact where one mode repels cannibals and the other attracts the cannibals. if i remember correctly i believe thats the what the second mode did was attract cannibals, But just mess around with it have one mode on for some time and see if it repels them or attracts them.

mode1: turns stuff golden
mode2: teleports you to teleporter pad
activation of things: activates the repellshrine, the attractshrine and the teleporter pad.
