Helicopter circling over me

I was just building, woke up at day 03 and a helicopter flew over, circled me around and flew West. Haven't checked if it landed anywhere, just heard it fly off to the distance, maybe it landed at the beach? Does anyone know anything about it?

Per the patch notes: "Jianyu helicopters will now take off and leave from bases around map, and may occasionally hover over player structures to check on them" I assume this is part of the new military NPC's, they may literally just do nothing for the game other than look at you to make sure your alive, although also definitely draw cannibals to you... I imagine we'll all figure out more as we explore the new story!

Reading patch notes is a good way to have all the new things just straight up spoiled, I don't blame them for just wanting to ask about smaller details

I like to jump into updates without spoiling a lot, plus the patchnotes for 1.0 are huge
