devs updating dlss would avoid users having to potentially search for these updates them self and stumble upon random malicious website potentially.

If you search for stuff online there always a risk at some point you find something malicious, better for the developers to update this in this case then forcing user to do it them self not that there no safe ways to do so.
Lets use custom scaling ratios or skip the upscaler all together and just use DLAA.
