Unlikely this will ever become a true survival game sadly. The True Survival games out there get nerfed down to what this game is because people want to be able to beat games as fast as possible.

What exactly is a "true" survival game and where are these arbitrary requirements laid out? What is it missing that earlier "true" survival games had? Also, when was the first time a "true" survival game was made since I doubt the vast majority of survival games will fit these arbitrary requirements.

"Having to" build base which is totally optional and "getting attacked every 5 mins" when the location matters a lot.

I didn't know "survival game" meant only one way to play. The Forest franchise is mostly definitely a survival game. Maybe not the kind everyone likes...but tell me one game out there that every single person is going to like....doesn't exist. If you don't like it, don't play it, simple as that.

"Location Matters" You mean that one island EVERYONE builds on, in the middle of the lake?

Exactly. If you build out in the ocean, just off the shore where the life raft it you get the attacks coming in, but nothing happens because they can't get to you. Maybe if people actually took the time to EXPLORE...you know like you do in SURVIVAL GAMES....they would figure out the different locations.

What if I want to build in nice places? At this point you're just defending the game, for the sake of it. Not everyone wants to exploit the system. We shouldn't have to. The game should just not be ♥♥♥♥.

Also, I dont mind getting attacked, just not every 2 secs. specially after wiping out Cannibal bases. The game's just ♥♥♥♥.

It's not exploiting if it's part of the game. LMAO. Okay, if you don't want to use the MECHANICS of the game, the quit complaining and go play something else. Or, how about you learn how to build so that they don't destroy everything....

Play on Hard Survival with Permadeath and see how long you can survive...I dont think there is a permadeath option but you can always play it that way, cant please everyone and personally as a fan of the first game in early access, I dont rate this better or worse than the original they are both game that I have enjoyed playing and replayed...The game was not expensive and has had a lot of features added and will continue to add...But that the way people are nowadays with all this woke culture bs, everthing is a target for ridicule now...
