Using Artifact to Teleport
How? It sparkles and sparks when I hold it on the constructed pad, but I just stand there wondering what to do. Anyone?

You activate the teleport base, then switch mode on the artifact (shown on the screenshot) and press LMB to teleport. Make sure your artifact is filled with solafite ores.

I tried that but didn't seem to work.

Now it does a wonderful flashy thing when I do LMB after activating it and...pop...I'm still where I started. I have two teleport pads, both "activated", but don't know how to go from one to the other. And what if I have more than two pads? How do I select a destination?

I have the same issue. I can't make sense of it and thinking it's possibly just bugged.

You only teleport to the last base you activated. If you activated another one the previous one gets deactivated.

Hmm that sounds complicated. Still unsure how to just make me teleport from one to another.

If I understand correctly, you can be anywhere on the map and teleport to the base where you have an activated teleport pad.

I was hoping I could select where I could go. OK. That's of limited use. I'm glad I built a zipline network all over the map.

It is a bit limited, but it pairs nicely with the glider and launchpad.

Yes, but sadly it's limited to one base. I hope they will expand it in the next updates. The best way at this moment is to have it on the snowy mountain and use it with the glider.

I've crashed that glider more times than I can count jumping off a high place and hitting the ground before the glider actually...well...glides. I tend to only use it now when I have a cliff and want to go where my zipline network isn't yet established.

Ahh yes! I too have a network of ziplines even Josh from Lets Game It Out on Youtube would be proud of. Or the jump tower we built. It's like a sky scraper. Because those gliders are tricky. Funny part is to land, you just crash at full speed where you want to go. Then hope you can grab the glider.
But I swear those ziplines are the best transport in the game.
