Kelvin needs self defense with Axe

Kelvin clearly has an axe. We need the ability to be able to give him the chainsaw or firefighter axe to cut trees with and defend himself with. He should also be able to swing his axe at enemies that are attacking the base or use the chainsaw on them. Should not need to babysit Kelvin, he keeps getting beat up by weak cannibals while collecting logs.

I think the logic behind him not being able to defend himself is the brain injury he sustained? However, if he can swing an axe at a tree, you would think he could swing it at an enemy. lol If i notice there are enemies around camp i just tell him to stay hidden. it seems easier.

As I understand the devs see Kelvin and Virginia as filling two different roles. They likely don't want to allow him to attack since it could make things a bit too easy.

i think its fine that he isnt able to do combat like virginia, but it'd be nice if he was able to swing the axe at least a little bit, agreed. brain damage doesnt work like the devs seem to think it does lol

Nah. Give Kelvin a machete. It's more fitting for his nature.
