Still can't make stairs on a wall/ inside a house?

You still can't build stairs on a wall or in general in a house? I haven't found any way to do this. Is there a way since I don't want to use a rope to get on second floor...

Yeah, sadly you have to put logs on both sides diagonally to have stairs, which is understandable for ramps since you make roofs from them but kinda weird for stairs.
Hope they'll add an option to put stairs on the regular walls instead
