Logs disappearing when trying to build certain walls of a shack

Hello, we are playing trio and are basically a few hours into the game. We think we understand basics of building. The problem is that we've built 4 medium platforms from blueprint and then we wanted to build walls. We've successfully built about 3 walls, 1 with window, but when we wanted to continue it first looked normal. On the platform there was a white mark to place the first log down and when I confirmed it, I placed the log like normal but then it disappeared immediately, the second too. I couldn't build a single row.. I host the game. Then my friends tried it too with the same results but their second log from their shoulder fell on the ground after placing without disappearing.

We tried to dismantle other walls and tried to build then in different orders but it were always the same parts of the wall that behaved like that. So we cannot continue building. Do you happen to know what the problem might be? Still this one seems like a bug since it allows us to place it and a log even disappears.. Thank you.

I can at least say, we bypassed the problem. If I remember correctly, since it is quite a while already, the game had problems combining normal platform and 4 platform block blueprints, the game often refused to attach those platform on each other. Its good to build only one or only other. Also when logs start disappearing, we deconstructed the entire segment, including furniture, and tried it again, we managed to avoid this glitch and for the entire game we encountered it maybe 2-3x on the beginning.
